Summary
Eponyms are frequently used in medicine. A selection of eponyms with relevance in dermatology is presented. The importance of eponyms in modern classification of diseases is fading. However, they are of interest in the history of medicine.
Zusammenfassung
Eponyme sind in der Medizin häufig verwendet worden. Eine Auswahl dermatologisch relevanter Eponyme wird vorgestellt. Der Einfluß der Eponyme in der modernen Klassifikation von Erkrankungen schwindet. Allerdings sind sie von medizin-historischem Interesse.
