Objective: People having large fan like labia minora’s, suffer from a range of inconveniences which include inability to wear tight dresses, continue with sporting activity or just plain embarrassment during sexual activity. I propose a simple technique to reduce the labial lips but at the same time retain the sensation of the edges. The treatment plan depends on a combination of criteria which will be discussed in detail in this presentation.

Methods: 36 patients who underwent Labioplasty since Jan. 2012 were taken up for the study. The extent of loose skin, fat deposits, and hooding were studied in detail and recorded. The results were reviewed with a minimum follow up of 6 months.

Results: 92 % of patients were very happy and satisfied with the improvement seen after the modified labioplasty. Only 8% patients needed some touch-up to improve the areas.

Conclusions: Modified Labioplasty (a pedicled flap) which includes not having a suture line at the edge of the labia gives a very pleasing result with adequate normal sensation during sexual activity.
